..................

Dnf time

1.Searching for Pemberley
I just can't. I got to 100, tried to skim a bit, but not even that worked. The book is sadly dry. The heroine gets to hear the story piece by piece, and honestly the family telling just sounds like teases. You could tell a lot more every time! It grew boring. And then there were the history lessons. It felt like a lesson, not a story.

2.
Useless facts to show that the author knows her stuff, just, they were unnecessary at that time. And I was so bored.

3. Wait..did the hero just kill her dad on p 2. What is this? Everyone is such an asshole. I guess his magical peen will make it all better

4. Rose of the prophet
It just so dragged out. And I never felt connected so dnf

5.
Seriously?! Was this romance? The heroine gets raped on page 1, continues to get raped. Her husband is in on it and the hero brings her to the rapist. Wtf. No DNF

6.
The heroine was meh, the hero was an ass.
And they steal artifacts! She calls herself an archaeologist!
